Today we're heading to Collegeville to check in with the Division III Ursinus Bears. Ursinus is a member of the Centennial Conference, and the Bears are coming off a 7-4 season that saw them earn a berth in the Centennial MAC Bowl series, where Ursinus battled Lycoming before falling short 31-23. Ursinus is coached by Peter Gallagher, and Matt Leon caught up with him to talk about this season and what he expects. Ursinus opens the season at Alvernia on Friday September 2, for a 7pm kickoff.

Joe Trainer is the head coach of the new women's flag football program at Division III Immaculata University. Trainer has a long history in coaching. He had two stints as the defensive coordinator at Villanova University and served as head coach at Millersville and Rhode Island.

Jesse Balcer has been the Director of Athletics at Division II Chestnut Hill College since 2018. He’s been at the school since 2003 when he started the men’s basketball program and he served as head coach until 2020.

In 2022, he led the Eagles to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance and in 2024 Eastern won its first-ever MAC Commonwealth Championship and earned its first-ever NCAA Tournament win.
