Two people are dead and three others are wounded after police say a disgruntled worker opened fire inside a linen store in Chester, Delaware County. At least one of those injured is in critical condition. KYW Newsradio’s Justin Udo has the details.
An 11-year-old boy is in custody after police say he pulled out a gun and fired at a house in Bristol Township, Bucks County. The incident happened Tuesday a half-mile from Ben Franklin Middle School, prompting the school to switch to remote learning. KYW Newsradio’s Vik Raghupathi has more.
Mayor Cherelle Parker hopes to open wellness centers citywide to address the opioid epidemic, but her first attempt has run into opposition. A City Council committee on Wednesday advanced a bill that would prohibit the city from continuing to lease a North Philadelphia building where services have recently been expanded.
