• A municipal court judge has dismissed the case against former Philadelphia police officer Mark Dial in the shooting death of Eddie Irizarry last month. Members of Irazarry's family were shocked and outraged by the decision.
• A Main Line basketball coach is accused of sexually abusing several girls while acting as their coach and trainer. 
• School bus drivers in five Camden County school districts are now trained and equipped with Narcan kits to help prevent overdoses and save lives. 
• More lawmakers have joined the chorus calling for New Jersey U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez to resign. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Sen. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania have each released statements Tuesday asserting Menendez needs to step down as he once again faces federal bribery charges. Booker points to Menendez's "boundless work ethic," but says he ultimately believes stepping down is in the senior senator's best interests, while Casey says Menendez should resign because he has "repeatedly" violated the public's trust.
