A rainy day for a long run — but a long Philadelphia tradition that endures — as 40,000 runners pounded the Broad Street pavement Sunday morning. It's the first time the Run has reached capacity since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Authorities are searching for the driver who struck a SEPTA bus last night along North Broad Street, injuring passengers and the bus driver. It happened around 7:30 in the evening, on the Route J bus, near Lindley Avenue.
Five teenagers have been shot in Philadelphia in three separate incidents so far this weekend — one of them killed.
Philadelphia police say a 25 year-old man was shot several times inside a Crab du Jour restaurant in the city’s Fairmount neighborhood. It happened just after 10:30 along Broad and Brown streets.
