About a dozen members of an alleged Philadelphia gang — “SaySlide” — have been charged in connection with what prosecutors are calling a money laundering scheme.
The Philly area entered a Code Orange Friday. 
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office has named Philadelphia lawyer Michael Untermeye as special prosecutor to handle crimes committed on SEPTA in the city.
While on the way to help with an incident, two Pennsylvania State Police troopers in a cruiser collided with a pickup truck early Friday morning in Old City, killing the driver.
PA Turnpike will begin tearing down tollbooths in the coming years.

'SaySlide' gang charged in connection with money laundering scheme

Police have arrested and charged one of three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in North Philadelphia Wednesday that injured seven.
A heat health emergency is in effect through Sunday in Philadelphia.


The high heat is doing a number on our cars. KYW's Tim Jimenez checked out an auto shop in Conshohocken for some of the heat-related issues mechanics have been dealing with. 
The ex-girlfriend of a 35-year-old who was shot and killed during a robbery in Norristown earlier this year has pleaded guilty to murder for setting the deadly robbery in motion.
TSA stopped a worker from bringing a loaded hand gun through checkpoint Friday. 
Two nursing homes in South Jersey are now under the supervision of a state receiver after the owners were accused of Medicaid fraud at their facilities in New York.

A 35-year-old Norristown woman pleaded guilty Friday to being under the influence of drugs and alcohol when she crashed her car and killed her 14-month-old last year.
Two nursing homes in South Jersey are now under the supervision of a state receiver after the owners were accused of Medicaid fraud at their facilities in New York.
