• A Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged in connection with an early morning shooting Thursday that left one woman dead and another woman wounded near a jetty in Atlantic City. KYW’s John McDevitt reports.
• A man convicted of attempted murder for shooting a cop twice during a West Philadelphia traffic stop last year will spend 22 to 44 years behind bars. KYW’s Conner Barkon reports it was an emotional day in court for the sentencing of Eric Haynes.
• The parents of the 8-year-old boy who died of an overdose of fentanyl and cocaine last summer in Chester County are ordered to stand trial on murder and manslaughter charges. KYW Suburban Bureau Chief Jim Melwert reports from Coatesville.
• Philadelphia police say they're working on a few new strategies as they try to prevent illegal car meet-ups that disrupt traffic. Deputy Police Commissioner James Kelly didn't disclose details, but he told reporters Thursday the department was devising some new tactics to respond to drivers who take over city streets.
• Single-ride passes are returning to Philadelphia's bike-share program. KYW's Mike DeNardo reports.
