A proposed merger of Temple University and the University of the Arts is off the table after nearly three months of negotiations failed to yield an agreement for both sides.
A couple accused of abusing a 12-year-old girl who died have waived their rights to a preliminary hearing. The girl’s father and his fiancée are facing a long list of charges, including first-degree murder.
With the current Pennsylvania legislative session coming to a close, transportation advocates are pushing for a new funding bill, but many hurdles still need to be cleared.
