• Police are searching for three carjacking suspects who crashed a stolen car into the front porch of a home in West Philadelphia while fleeing police early Tuesday morning, investigators said.
• Turns out political endorsement is not for the Birds. Advertisements declaring Vice President Kamala Harris as the "official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles" have appeared at bus shelters around Center City — but, according to the Eagles, they are fake news.

• Philly’s gun violence is continuing to trend downward, even during the summer months when there’s normally a spike. The police commissioner is hopeful shootings and homicides will continue to decline.
