Philadelphia City Council and Mayor Cherelle Parker agreed early this morning on a $6.4 billion budget for the next fiscal year.
Two competing class-action lawsuits have been filed on behalf of staff and faculty at the University of the Arts for the university's failure to give sufficient advance notification that they would lose their jobs.
It will soon be illegal to hold a phone while driving in Pennsylvania. Gov. Josh Shapiro signed the bill into law.
