Man fires shots into Kensington house, fatally strikes 59-year-old woman inside, police say

New Jersey's Democrat-led Legislature passed a $56.6 billion budget Friday. It now goes to Gov. Phil Murphy, who's expected to sign it.
A woman was shot through a window while inside a house in Kensington Friday. 
Malik Flegler, now 18, admitted to being in the Mill Creek Recreation Center near 47th and Brown streets on Sept. 9, 2022, where 41-year-old Tiffany Fletcher was shot in the stomach by a stray bullet and later died at the hospital.
Former Philadelphia City Councilmember Donna Reed Miller, who represented parts of Northwest Philadelphia for more than a decade, has died. She was 77.
Two longtime Flyers trainers who claim fumes from a Zamboni machine gave them cancer now have a corresponding lawsuit in New Jersey involving a group of team insurers.
