Philadelphia police said a driver struck and killed a pedestrian who was crossing the street in University City Wednesday morning, then fled the scene.
A 17-year-old delivery worker was shot while driving his motorized scooter in South Philadelphia early Wednesday, police said. The victim was being chased by a group on dirt bikes that was trying to rob him.
As Republicans and Democrats go to the polls in Pennsylvania Tuesday, more than 1 million voters statewide will be shut out of the process because they’re not registered with a major party.


Philadelphia police officers are practicing their jump shots in preparation for a basketball tournament with the community.
