• A section of Master Street in North Philly is renamed after a beloved actress with close ties to the community.

• Sixers MVP big man Joel Embiid just signed a contract extension that likely makes him a Sixer for life, and he’s wasted no time getting back out in the community and supporting the city’s youth. The latest effort was at a block party on a court in North Philly named in honor of his late brother Arthur.
