The Valley Hispanic Bomberos is a nonprofit group rooted in culture and tradition, just like the fire service. The organization is made up of roughly 1,200 Hispanic firefighters who are dedicated to protecting and serving their communities in the Phoenix area. But for the members, it goes beyond public service. The group of firefighters is heavily involved the communities they serve, and for many of them its’s the same communities they grew up in.
