A 33-year-old Phoenix father contracted COVID-19 in December 2020. Nearly five months later, his wife remains hopeful he’ll come home so they can raise their two little girls together.
The young father was one of 14 members of the family who became infected with the virus. Elias’ father and brother both passed after contracting COVID, and his wife shares the emotional story of how she holds on to hope that he survives, so he can meet his newborn daughter.
