Portions of Salt Lake and Tooele Counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning as a string of storms slowly makes its way across northern Utah.
KSL Meteorologist Kevin Eubank says the storm will eventually move north across Davis and portions of Weber County at a speed of 25 miles per hour.
Eubank said the storm is expected to bring gusty winds, heavy rain, and standing water on roadways. He said there is a potential for lightning and that residents should bring in their patio furniture as well as their garbage cans.
