The first half our show this morning featured a guest; Sarah Blunt is with Integrated Community Services, and she uses the gardens at New Beginnings to engage with people with disabilities. This also helps the gardens with volunteer labor, creating a natural symbiosis; job training, work experience and mentoring for trainees, and supporting productive gardens for the programs to use.
