The school nurse tried CPR, but the girl died and the woman was arrested. A day later, police to the north in Beeville say a woman left her nine-month-old granddaughter in a car. That girl died, too, and police expect charges there to include criminally negligent homicide, but the grandmother went to the hospital this weekend with cardiac issues.
