The race for the Texas senate seat in November...is getting really tight...
A new poll put support for Sen. Ted Cruz among likely voters at 46%, while his challenger, Dallas congressman Colin Allred, sits at 44%. Rice political science professor Mark Jones...one of the authors of the polls says these results really haven't changed from what they showed in June...even with the surge of Vice President Kamala Harris. He says Cruz has not retained all the Trump votes which is a problem. Jones says Harris still has an unfavorable mark in Texas, so tying Allred to her will be key to his campaign.
