National Infertility Awareness Week®, the largest public awareness campaign focused on infertility, was established in 1989 by Resolve.org and the National Infertility Association to address the struggles faced by so many who are challenged in their family-building journey. KRLD's John Liddle talked with Barbara Collura, the president and CEO of RESOLVE, and Sasmira Lalwani, M.D. Senior Director, Medical Affairs – Reproductive Medicine, Ferring Pharmaceuticals about infertility.
They discussed understanding infertility, personalized medicine in fertility, fertility treatment options, the role of community in coping with infertility and the importance of access to fertility care.
