A North Texas lawmaker says things would be easier and cooler, if the school year started later...Frisco state representative Jared Patterson says it makes no sense to start schools during the hottest part of the summer. Waiting until after Labor Day, he says, would eliminate high air conditioning costs in July and August, and reduce the potential for electricity equipment failures.
