The Dallas Zoo announced new summer hours to help visitors, staff and animals stay cool during those hot summer days. Starting this week and running through Friday, Aug. 30, the zoo will open at 8 a.m. and close at 3 p.m.

All you have to do is take a picture of the plant and let the app do its thing. It can diagnose plant diseases and give you the step-by-step instructions on treating those diseases. The app will show you how to properly care for your plants. It can also show you which plants are dangerous for your family or pets to be around. It'll also show you which plants you could do without, because they're weeds. The death toll in Monday's Israeli strike on Lebanon has grown to more than 490 people, according to Lebanese authorities. The attack is part of Israel's attempt to move Hezbollah away from the Lebanon-Israel border, and it comes less than a week after an attack on communication devices killed dozens in Lebanon. It raises a lot of questions about whether this is an all-out war, and if not -- where does it end? CBS News military analyst Jeff McCausland joined KRLD on Tuesday.
