Dallas ISD students compete in 'Shark Tank'-style business competition

Our App today is called Organic Maps. Our phones have all kinds of different map apps on them. But, typically, those apps have to have an Internet connection in order to come up. This app doesn't need that. You can download the maps, and then use them offline with driving or walking directions. Just like the other map apps, it comes with turn-by-turn directions. It also has different kinds of travel guides depending on where you're going. It works with different kinds of activities that you might want to do on a holiday. It has all kinds of detailed trails for hiking. The secret: It has GPS navigation and the maps are updated when you are online. The app also lets you book reservations for hotels and find different locations, again all offline. It also doesn't do any tracking or data collection or invade your privacy. Organic Maps: Offline Map is a free app on iTunes and Android.
