Dallas ISD opened this week with the fewest open jobs since they started tracking

We've been telling you about kids heading back to school across North Texas, and now those schools are looking ahead. The state has not increased funding per-student since 2019 and federal pandemic relief is running out so a lot of districts passed budgets this year with shortfalls. Dallas ISD cut administration jobs but gave a raise to teachers. Superintendent Stephanie Elizalde says they opened this week with the fewest open jobs since they started keeping track.
