A spotlight on single mothers in DFW during Women's History Month

View descriptionShare

While we remain in the last few days of Women’s History Month in March, we wanted to point the spotlight on single mothers here in the DFW.

A recent poll identified that 48% of the single mothers in Dallas live in poverty. And beyond that, Dallas is ranked as one of the worst cities for single moms (according to WalletHub, Dallas ranks 133 out of 150 cities).

Interfaith Family Services’ CEO Kimberly Williams joined us on the KRLD Afternoon News to discuss the life-changing services they offer to single mothers in Dallas.
