The historic language of Jews in Europe – Yiddish – was once spoken by tens of thousands of Jewish immigrants in Los Angeles.

That language was almost destroyed by assimilation and the Holocaust. But now, Yiddish is making a comeback. KCRW’s Robin Estrin explains.
