The Bay Area is showing solidarity for Ukraine after Russia launched a wide-scale invasion. Ukrainian officials reported that the broad attacks have wounded hundreds and killed over 130 civilians and military personnel so far. Watching the developments from here as well is Bay Area writer and journalist Zarina Zabrisky. She has deep personal connections to both Russia and Ukraine. She spoke with KQED's April Dembosky about her family history and how it's been coming up for her as she processes this challenging moment.
