It's been a tough week for Oakland's mayor.

Yesterday the F-B-I raided Mayor Sheng Thao's home.

Earlier this week... city officials said an effort to recall her from office had gathered enough signatures to get a question on whether she should go - on the November ballot. 

Federal law enforcement officials have not shared details on what was behind Thursday's raid.

It does... however... follow  years of investigations into suspected illegal campaign contributions … to Thao and other Oakland lawmakers.
