UCSF Study Finds Black Residents Overrepresented in Homeless Population

A new UCSF study finds that black residents make up a quarter of homeless adults but just 7% of the state population. The report calls for policies like reparations to address the economic marginalization of Black Californians and improving re entry support for those leaving jails and prisons.
