As San Francisco continues to deal with a severe drug overdose crisis … one of the city's public health leaders is reflecting on the impact of an emergency approach that saved over 300 lives last year. Vitka Eisen is president and CEO of Health Right 360, a nonprofit based in San Francisco treating substance use disorder. Organizations like hers came together to offer services at the LINKAGE CENTER in the Tenderloin neighborhood ... with a focus on harm reduction.. so people could use drugs *safely under *supervision.
