State Lawmakers Propose Recovery Plan to Revitalize California's Downtowns

A coalition of California legislators, mayors, and business leaders is calling for a comeback of the state’s downtowns -which have been reeling since the pandemic hit. Yesterday, the group announced a package of 13 bills aimed at encouraging vibrant and safe city centers.  KQED’s Sara Hossaini reports.
