Hundreds of thousands of votes remain to be counted in California’s primary … and this could weigh heavily in key statewide races ... like for governor and insurance commissioner. But what is more clear is that in several of the closely watched CONGRESSIONAL races, establishment Democrats and incumbents led ... in the face of challenges from progressive and Republican candidates. Like representatives Mike Thompson in the North Bay ... and Brad Sherman in Los Angeles, whose progressive challenger did not make it to the runoff. I talked about all of this with ADDISU DEMISSIE a veteran Democratic political consultant and former campaign manager for Governor Gavin Newsom’s run in 2018.
