Later today, in a show of support from Vice President Kamala Harris’ home state, Governor Gavin Newsom is set to address the floor at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. He’ll deliver the delegates that ceremonially put Harris over the top for the Democratic nomination.  Other top Democrats in attendance include Senator Laphonza Butler.  She played a key role in Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign. Senator Butler spoke with Marisa Lagos and Scott Shafer, the hosts of KQED’s Political Breakdown podcast, from Chicago.
