It’s been almost a year into President Donald Trump’s second term, and California remains in the crosshairs, legally speaking. The state is filing lawsuits at almost double the pace of the first Trump administration. One of the groups fighting in court on behalf of local governments here in California and around the country is the nonpartisan Public Rights Project, based in Oakland.
