San Francisco Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi has tried to increase Democratic support, with a focus on continuing to criticize the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress over issues affecting voters’ pocketbooks. Her district has been at the center of debates over federal funding - like the targeting of the agency that runs the Presidio, and the city’s legal actions aiming to block the president’s recent executive orders over immigration, the environment and the federal workforce.
