Starting this week, CVS stores across the Bay Area are launching appointments for the new Covid vaccines. But looming over the rollout is confusion, following staffing changes by the Trump administration that have targeted the CDC. In response, California's head of public health announced the state is joining forces with Oregon and Washington, to present their own Covid vaccines recommendations over concerns about the CDC’s credibility and scientific integrity.
