It's not over yet. 

That's the message from the National Weather Service... this... more than eight hours after the first tsunami waves set off by a massive earthquake in Russia... began hitting Bay Area coast lines.

Just after midnight ... waves up to two and a half feet higher than normal ... began arriving along our beaches. 

Wave activity is subsiding ... but the National Weather Service says we should expect this to continue on and off into the afternoon.
