Measure E Asks Oakland Voters to Approve New Parcel Tax For City Services

Voting is underway in California’s June 2nd primary and over the next few weeks, we’re taking a close look at the key races and ballot measures across the Bay Area. First up, Measure E in Oakland, which is asking voters in that city to approve an annual Parcel Tax.

The funds would go toward certain city services, like public safety, as well as programs to address homelessness and illegal dumping. For more, we’re joined by Eli Wolfe, a reporter for The Oaklandside.
