A major investigation by the New York Times is raising serious allegations about Cesar Chavez, one of the most admired figures in Latino civil rights history. The reporting includes accounts from multiple women, including co-organizer and labor rights leader, Dolores Huerta. They say Chavez sexually abused them, in some cases, when they were children. Huerta described concealing two pregnancies from the assaults and then arranging for the babies to be raised by others. Impact of these accounts will be far and wide reaching. For more on what the fallout could look like, I'm joined by Gustavo Arellano, columnist with the Los Angeles Times. Gustavo, Welcome to the show.
