You are likely readying your stove for some major cooking today and tomorrow. I know I am. But in my work as a climate reporter for KQED, I’ve read study after study about the negative health effects of cooking with gas. Especially for kids with respiratory issues. Like my son. So I thought, before we fire it all up, let’s call in the scientists. They’ll be testing the air quality in my home, particularly when the gas stove is on.
