In Historic Ballot, Three Democrats Running for CA 16th House District

View descriptionShare

Voters in California's 16th House district will see a historic first on their ballots this November — three Democrats competing for Congress in the general election. That’s the result of a tie for second place in the March primary between Assemblymember Evan Low and Santa Clara County supervisor Joe Simitian. Now, both candidates will advance to the general election, along with former San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, who finished first in the primary.
