The trans community is bracing for a tense future under the second Trump presidency, fearing some of their rights will be curtailed. Tonight, a rally at San Francisco City Hall is expected to address this political climate on Transgender Day of Remembrance. Today, folks honor the memory of the trans people who lost their lives from acts of discriminatory violence. Speaking at the rally in San Francisco is Honey Mahogany, a longtime trans rights activist and the city’s director for the Office of Transgender Initiatives.
