Certain Contraception Methods Less Effective than Expected

Certain forms of contraception have been long viewed as the most reliable: tubal ligation - or getting your tubes tied - and intrauterine devices (IUDs). But a new study from UCSF finds that both methods fail to prevent pregnancy more often than expected, which is especially relevant for women of color. KQED's health correspondent April Dembosky report.
