Afternoon tea in the classic British style is the kind of thing you’ve probably seen on TV shows like “Downton Abbey” and “Bridgerton.” You know, fancy little sandwiches, crumpets, and really cute teapots. Here in the Bay Area, a growing crop of cafes and pop-ups timed with Lunar New Year this week are taking afternoon tea and infusing it with Asian flavors … featuring ube pastries, mooncakes, and cherry blossom flavors.
