The campaign to recall three members of the San Francisco School Board is in the home stretch – the last day to vote is next Tuesday. Among the recall’s biggest supporters - folks in the city’s Chinese community. Many have helped collect signatures to place the recall on the ballot – and they continue to campaign for their removal. Today we’re talking about the messaging – specifically TV ads in Mandarin and Cantonese playing on Chinese television in San Francisco. KQED has teamed up with the San Francisco Standard to cover the recall campaign in the Asian American community, and joining Brian to talk about that are KQED Politics Editor Scott Shafer and reporter Han Li with the SF Standard.
