California’s two senators are pressing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to reverse what they call the illegal termination of 400 congressionally authorized grants, dozens of which represent nearly $260 million across California. This week, protestors picketed outside the EPA’s regional headquarters in San Francisco. KQED’s Ezra David Romero was there and has this report.
