Later today (TUES), California lawmakers will vote on legislation aimed at preventing gas price spikes at the pump.

The measure would direct regulators to set minimum fuel storage requirements for refiners.

This is after Gov. Gavin Newsom called lawmakers into a special legislative session to try and address the issue.
