Bay Area Counties Conduct Homeless Counts

At least once every two years, volunteers scour their cities for signs of homelessness, often on foot, and count people one by one. It’s part of a federal effort to understand how many people are unhoused. Some Bay Area counties conducted their own estimate last week, including Solano, Sonoma and San Francisco.
