When we think back to the things that got us through pandemic lockdowns, baking comes to mind, and for one Bay Area chef, the hobby really took off. He’s turned his passion for sourdough bread into a business. It’s called RIZE UP, and over three years, it’s expanded operations - serving purple sourdough bread and other inventive flavors. KQED’s Adhiti Bandlamudi profiled the business for the California Report Magazine and she takes us there.
