An uneasy silence reigns in Fremont’s Afghan community, famously one of the largest in the nation. That’s because the Trump administration has rolled up the welcome mat for thousands of refugees here in the U.S., and hundreds of thousands of family members still stranded in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
