Faith leaders and immigrant rights advocates are completing a nearly 100-mile pilgrimage today in Los Angeles.The group started its journey at the Adelanto Detention Facility in San Bernardino County. and are expected to arrive at the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown LA around noon. They're protesting the conditions at detention centers across the state and immigrant deaths that have occurred at those facilities.

Federal immigration agents arrested a man on the campus of Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria on the Central Coast Monday morning, according to the school. Mayrin, a first year student, said she didn’t want to share her last name to protect her family’s safety, but told KCBX her father was arrested by ICE agents as he was dropping her off for class.
